London 06/10/2015 - The London Metal Exchange (LME) has kept transaction and subscription fees unchanged from the 2015 levels, the exchange said in a release on Tuesday.
For annual subscriptions fees in 2016, category one members continue to pay $95,000, while category twos stay at $90,000.
Category three and four fees remain at $30,000, while category four agency fees were set at $75,000.
Category five fees will be an annual $4,000 and category six at $500.
Fees for trading and clearing for ring, kerb and basis business remain at $0.50 per leg, per side, per lot, compared with $0.90 for non-ring business. Give-ups were priced at $0.50, short-dated carries at $0.50 and all others at $0.90.
Option exercise was $0.35, while there was a cash settlement fee of $0.08 and a delivery fee of $0.35.
For the new scrap and rebar futures, non-ring fees will be $0.10, give-ups $0.06 and all others at $0.10 with a cash settlement free of $0.02.
The exchange has also put in place a market makers programme which would provide a reduction in fees for participants.
