London 25/05/2016 - Jan Peisert will become president of KGHM International, replacing Wojciech Kedzia, KGHM said on Wednesday.
Peisert has been with KGHM since 1995. He has managed KGHM Polish Copper Ltd in London and is currently on the board of KGHM International Ltd. He is a board member of the the European Copper Institute.
Kedzia was appointed president of KGHM International on October 1 last year, replacing Derek White. He has been with KGHM since 1992.
KGHM International, a wholly owned subsidiary of KGHM Polish Copper SA, oversees mining projects outside of Poland - it has mines in Canada and the US and owns 55 percent of the flagship Sierra Gorda copper and molybdenum mine in Chile.
