Singapore 20/07/2016 - China’s production of refined copper was almost flat, rising by a slight 0.1 percent year-on-year to 686,000 tonnes in June, according to latest data published by the country’s National Bureau of Statistics.
This took output to 4.03 million tonnes in the first half of this year, up 7.6 percent from the same period last year.
China’s output of copper products increased 18.8 percent year-on-year to 2.02 million tonnes in June. This took year-to-date production to 9.68 million tonnes, an increase of 13 percent from the first half of last year.
